Should you install a wet room floor or a more traditional walk in shower tray? Wet room floors have become far more accessible with lower costs, easier wet room floor fitting kits and more consumer knowledge. However, is it still safer and cheaper to install a shower tray rather than a wet floor?
A key element for a successful glass block shower, wall or window project is choosing the right sizes. Learn 6 practical tips to design your project right the first time.
Obviously a shower set over a bathtub would not be considered a walk in shower nor would a wet room shower. When deciding on the design of your shower you will need to decide on the type of shower screens you want, what sort of shower panel you would like to install and what type of door your shower should have. If space, or lack of it, is a consideration you should probably consider installing either a bi fold shower door or sliding shower doors as both are very space saving. With this type of shower you would probably want to opt for a sliding shower door. Install a hand-held, antique style shower head and place a small triangular bench in the corner of the shower to store shower and bathing accessories. Install your shower panel in the corner of the bathroom and simply add one clear Plexiglas panel, going from ceiling to floor to one side, separating the shower area from the rest of the bathroom.
